The Program:

Introducing the Khwezi Lodestar Program — an initiative with clear objectives to digitally scale 20 female-founded startups over 6 months. This program offers software and digital platform license grants, technical support, and mentorship led by accomplished women in business. Throughout the year, participants will benefit from 24 biweekly workshops and exclusive mentorship from leading female business leaders in Cape Town. The program opens doors for female founders, providing access to VC investors, government support, and both local and international grant funds. Creating a holistic and supportive community, female founders in Cape Town will enjoy 6 months of free access to FSAT Labs' innovation offices in Century City and TechnoPark, Stellenbosch. As a unique opportunity, the top 5 revenue-generating and innovative Khwezi startups will receive travel grants to pitch their technologies and businesses to international investors and DFIs outside of South Africa. Post-program, the top 5 Khwezi startups will receive additional digital and software license grants, and each Khwezi startup will undergo personalized one-on-one investor and investment readiness engagements with local and international VCs and DFIs.
